The Typographic journal was designed based on Massimo Vignelli's 'The Vignelli Canon'. The publication utilises mark-making, experimental typography and modern design techniques. The type changes in each spread to represent the 'breaking' of traditional typographic and publication design elements. The bold red brings interest and power to each spread and carries a sense of activism by challenging the ideals of graphics. The publication explores negative space, scale, mark making and experimental typography.
