In response to my anguish and passion for conversation, the 'Forest Not Units' narrative is an activism project which explores the power of deploying bold typography and environmental design. The intervention explores the conversation movement, through carrying a declaration of activism, rallied and deployed upon the walls and floors of my family home. The visual language of the intervention reinterprets the tone of activism by using bold stencilled typography, a limited colour palette, simple geometric shapes and legible typography. The house stands as an outlet of power for the community, operating as a beacon.
