MAEGAN ELIZABETH
A mixture of fascination in the makers mark and materiality - Maegan Elizabeth is an emerging multidisciplinary designer, who has recently completed a Bachelor of Design at COFA (UNSW's College of Fine Arts).

DESIGN PRACTICE
Maegan's design practice functions through a multidisciplinary mindset of graphics and textiles, with a key interest in makers mark and materiality. Her design aesthetic is often elegant, thoughtful and sincere, as she aims to mirror the values of her practice into visual and tactile outcomes of her work to provide an overall sense of authenticity.
Maegan fosters a design practice which is slow, considerate and purposeful- as she hopes to cultivate a practice which connects people and nature.
Maegan has a range of skills in graphics, including - technical skills using the adobe suite, branding publication, and packaging design. In textiles, Maegan focuses on felting, screen-printing, natural dyeing and experimenting with innovative recycled / bio-based materials.










ETHICS & SUSTAINABILITY
The core values of authenticity, transparency, originality, creativity and slow* guide and drive her design practice. Maegan is on her journey towards sustainability - she doesn't claim to be perfect but creating sustainable and ethical designs is one of her core motivations. Maegan is also continually learning and growing as a designer, as she is dedicated to improving all aspects of her design process. Further, Maegan understands the importance of being transparent throughout all aspects of her practice. She values creating meaningful designs that foster a sense of connection between people and nature.
